Run Reigate 2027 is on Sunday 19 September. In 2026 Bell Street shut 8am to 10am, Horley to 11.30am, Park Lane to 1.30pm. Car parks, entry prices.
Run Reigate 2026 has happened: it was run on Sunday 20 September, with the last closure timed to lift at 1.30pm that afternoon. The next one is on Sunday 19 September 2027. RunThrough’s 2027 entry page gives that date, and the organiser’s Run Reigate page already carries an “Enter 2027 event” button.
The 2027 road closure map has not been published yet. Below are the closures as they ran in 2026, from the organiser’s own road closure map, which is the best guide to what to expect until the new one appears. In 2026 the half marathon route ran south from Priory Park all the way to Horley, so Reigate Road, Meath Green and Westvale Park were shut for the morning as well as Bell Street and Cockshot Hill.

Run Reigate 2027: date and entry
- Date: Sunday 19 September 2027, at Priory Park, Bell Street, Reigate RH2 7RL.
- Entry prices on 11 October 2026: £30 for the 5K, £37 for the 10K, £40 for the half marathon and £17 for a juniors place, each plus a 5% booking fee, on RunThrough.
- Road closures: not yet published for 2027. We will update this page when Run Series puts out the new map.
Start times for 2027 are not confirmed on the organiser’s page yet. In 2026 the 10K went at 9am, the half marathon at 9.15am, the 5K at 9.20am and the kids races from midday, and RunThrough lists the 2027 half marathon start as 9.15am.
The 2026 closure times, sector by sector
In 2026 the route was split into six sectors, each with its own reopening time. The earliest shut at 8am and the last did not reopen until 1.30pm.

Sector 1 was the short one: Bell Street was clear by 10am. Sector 6, the Park Lane end, was the last to reopen because the event village ran on in the park until 2pm.
Vehicle crossing points in 2026: how residents got out
The organisers set four marshalled crossing points, each with its own window and its own escape route.
- Crossing point 1, Bell Street and Cockshot Hill: 08:00 to 08:45, then 09:45 to 10:00. Residents either side of Bell Street and Cockshot Hill, including Park Lane East and Prices Lane, keep access in and out.
- Crossing point 2, Westvale Park: 08:00 to 11:30. Residents get in and out by marshals onto Meath Green Lane, using the Webber Street bus lane exit.
- Crossing point 3: 08:15 to 09:30. Residents in Horse Hill and Ironsbottom get in and out via Deanoak Lane, Collendean Lane and the A217 south at Hookwood.
- Crossing point 4, Sandcross Lane: 08:00 to 08:45. Residents in the Sandcross Lane and Slipshatch area get out onto Meadow Way or Prices Lane.
Roadworks on the course now. Two of those escape routes point at Prices Lane, which Thames Water had shut from 19 August; its permit on Surrey’s roadworks register ended on 17 September. Thames Water then took a permit on Sandcross Lane, inside Sector 5, running from 22 September to 31 October 2026. That one is nothing to do with the race, but it is on the same lanes, so check the register for the latest before you drive them.
Run Reigate parking: the 2026 car parks
In 2026 Run Series borrowed car parks from local businesses. All were within a fifteen minute walk of the event village, with a suggested £5 donation to the event charities. The 2027 list has not been published.

Woodhatch Place was the trap, and the organisers flagged it themselves: that car park sat inside the road closures, so a car arriving at 8.30am could not get in, and one parked at 7.30am could not drive out again until 10am. For everyday parking in town, see our parking in Reigate page.
Getting there without a car
Reigate station is a ten minute walk from the start in Priory Park. In 2026 there was a bike park in the event village, but runners brought their own lock.
Race times in 2026
- 10K: 9.00am
- Half marathon: 9.15am
- 5K: 9.20am
- Kids race: from 12.00pm, staggered by school year. Years 9 to 11 at 12.00, Years 7 and 8 at 12.05, Year 6 at 12.10, Year 5 at 12.20, Year 4 at 12.30, Year 3 at 12.40, Year 2 at 12.50, Year 1 and Reception at 1.00pm.
The event village opened at 7.30am and closed at 2pm. There was no time limit on any race, but marshals stood down three hours after the half marathon start, about 12.15pm, after which normal rules of the road applied.
Who can enter
Minimum ages are set by UK Athletics rules: 17 and over for the half marathon, 15 and over for the 10K, 11 and over for the 5K. The kids race sells out most years, the organisers say, so it is the one to book first.
In 2026 dogs were not allowed except guide dogs, pushchairs needed clearing with the organisers first because it is an England Athletics licensed event, and race numbers were collection only, from Simply Sports on Reigate High Street or the info point in Priory Park.
Where to watch
In 2026 the organisers named three cheer points away from the park: The Beehive pub at Woodhatch, the Westvale roundabout and Sandcross School. The start and finish gantry in Priory Park is the obvious one.

- The next race is Sunday 19 September 2027. Closures are not yet published.
- In 2026 Bell Street and Cockshot Hill were shut 8am to 10am, Reigate Road in Horley 8.15am to 11.30am, and Park Lane until 1.30pm. Expect a similar morning in 2027 if the route stays the same.
- Thames Water’s Sandcross Lane permit runs to 31 October 2026, unrelated to the race.
